It works for what I need it forLove the product, it doesn’t include a pre applied adhesive but it’s easy enough to just tape it on the bottom. The only thing that i would like to be improved is the temperature gauge, instead of it spanning from on —-> off, i wish it could show the temperatures. Other than that, it does have a short cord but for me it’s completely manageable. My gecko loved it as well!The problem is that there is no way to adhere it to the enclosure. In addition, there is a tab that stands out enough so that it elevates the tank and no heat is transmitted. If you avoid the tab the protrudes, much of the heat simply dissipates. The price was very reasonable and it has a on/off switch. It is useful and worth the price.For some reason I can’t download my picture. At first, I was Skeptical of this product. But when I tried it out it wind up being a great purchase. Then I also discovered I could use this for my seedlings. And now I love this product I will be buying more.This thing gets HOT. I stuck my hand against the glass where I had attached the heater from the outside, I was surprised at how hot it actually felt. Keeps my tank at around 80 degrees.It worked pretty good just wished it had numbers for thermostat.Obviously you can spend hundreds on "proper" heat provisions, but this little pad is an all in one package. Love the idea of an inline potentiometer. Check your temps regularly amd adjust until you know its at a safe spot. Cant go wrong with these ive bought 4 with no issuesThe bees love them! I'm not loosing bees any more. Now that they are in the bee hives. the bees don't want to leave the hive and are venturing to all sections of the hive. These are great. i need to order more to make more hives and move bees aroundI have the 15W 8.66" x 9.84" model. I use this to heat my Sea Monkeys Ocean-Zoo tank, since they're too small for traditional aquarium heaters. I've been using it for 8 weeks so far, and it's been doing a pretty decent job. There are no markings on the temperature dial to indicate how far you've turned it up, so I had to paint some arrows on; minor inconvenience, nothing serious. It was packed in a little plastic baggie, and arrived with an odd crease in the middle of it that had me a little concerned, but so far that doesn't seem to be a problem. There's about an inch or so near the end of the mat where the cord is attached that doesn't really get very hot, but the rest of it seems pretty consistent. If anyone's looking to get these for Sea Monkeys, the model size I have could probably fit 4 Ocean-Zoo tanks on it no problem. Does the job, I do recommend.
